Most of the mirrors of Ancient-Turkic time found in Siberia were of Chinese origin or copied by local craftsmen from the Chinese patterns. They bring many symbols of Chinese culture. According to the myths, the symbolism of bagua shows us the origin of the symbols, so far, the frog in the center of the mirror symbolises the goddess Niuj-va, whereas two dragons mean an emperor and an empress or in other words two opposite essences which are " in’ " and" yan’ ". The lions mean wishing power to the owner of the mirror while the vine reveals abundance. The hieroglyphic inscriptions on the mirrors introduce us to traditional Chinese good wishes.
